Grape Hyacinth
Muscari armeniacum
Lush, green foliage emerge from the ground
in early spring, soon followed by the sturdy stems of the Grape Hyacinth. Above the foliage, the deep cobalt blue
clusters of bell shaped flowers emit their sweet fragerance. The total height of Grape Hyacinth is approximately
6 inches. The foliage eventually dies back, but often makes a comeback in the fall. Hardy in zones 4-8, this plant
can be grown in either full sun or part shade.
